Hey there! My name’s Ty

I’m a basket maker/ green woodworker and the main teacher at Madder Root Craft. We are an educational center in Unity, New Hampshire teaching and hosting workshops in basketry, green woodworking, natural dyeing, and vernacular building. All the craft we teach and practice on the land is done  with hand-tools and without electricity. Please check out our list of class offerings and apprenticeships!
