Come make a basket! Baskets have been indispensable to every human culture for millenia. I teach a number of different styles, from heavy-duty pack baskets to carry a bushel of apples home from the orchard, to fine, almost textile-like baskets from bark. Please reach out by email for more details and to register for a class!
We also offer one-two week work-study opportunities on the farm in Unity, New Hampshire. Each study period is individually tailored to the students needs and interests. As of now, we are no longer offering longer apprenticeships.

The tuition for all classes held at Madder Root Craft cost 90 dollars a day (unless otherwise noted), Materials fees are not inculded and expressed in each class’ description.
